그래미위너 밴드 린킨파크 2004년 앨범 [Collision Course] 발매 후 1년. 매년 어김없이 린킨파크 팬들에게 새로운 앨범을 들고 나타나는 그들이 새로운 시도로 가득찬 새 앨범을 내놓는다.린킨파크 사이드 프로젝트 포트 마이너! 린킨파크가 설립한 레이블, Machine Shop Recordings가 워너뮤직과 함께 내놓는 첫 앨범, [The Rising Tied]는 본 작은 2004년 린킨파크 앨범 [Collision Course]에서 함께 입을 맞춘 Jay-Z가 Executive Producer로 나서고 마이크 시노다가 전 곡을 제작 및 기획한 멜로디컬한 린킨파크 튠을 그대로 담은 힙합 앨범이다.
