메틀리카의 공식적인 첫 라이브 앨범으로 공연실황을 담은 3장의 CD와 2개의 DVD로 이루어져 있다. 이때까지 라이브를 들려주고 보여주는 앨범이 없었기 때문에 가치가 있는 앨범이라 하겠다. 부틀랙 앨범들과는 비교조차 될 수 없는 깔끔한 사운드에 모든 대표곡들과 솔로연주 등도 수록되어 있다. 가장 마음에 드는 곡은 역시 one 이며 시애틀과 샌디에고 라이브 비디오에서는 멤버들의 거침없는 무대매너와 제이슨 뉴스테드의 독특한 헤어 스타일의 헤드뱅잉을 볼 수있다. 양,질 모두를 충족시키는 앨범임에는 틀림없지만 이들의 골수팬이 아니라면 꼭 가질 필요는 없는 것 같다.
